"Karen...is a knowledgeable and careful instructor ...(whose) extraordinary abilities...conduct a class that is energizing and rejuvenating...helping to alleviate some of the stress that often sits heavily on our shoulders."

Yoga is recommended for individuals with heart disease, cancer, Parkinson's, Diabetes, weight maintenance, asthma, and many other ailments. The practice of movement --gentle or vigorous-- met with breath and meditation lowers blood pressure, relieves the mind of the active thought, and changes the energies of the body.
Yoga teaches us how to use energies that are opposing, compatible, bound and dynamic. Combining these energies with the natural release of endorphins released by the brain when we become active is prescriptive for healthier lifestyles. Our mind is capable of changing our bodies, both soft and skeletal tissue, and our breath is able
to change our energy level. The practice of yoga and breath work moves us to greater well being both physically and mentally.
