Yoga is a form of moving mediation engendering the connection of mind, body and spirit. Stress reeks havoc in the mind, is felt in the body, and always depletes the inner spirit. Physical movement sets off endorphins in the brain making us feel better. And the focus on one task can relieve the mind from the stressors plaguing it, increasing our self confidence, warding off anxieties, and providing a greater sense of well being.

Yoga teaches us to marry movement with our breath. Through the practice of pranayama (breath work) we can increase our strength, energy, and relaxation; relieving tension in our bodies.

With yoga, we create a balance within ourselves, reducing stress and anxiety. What we practice on the mat often follows us into the world, helping us cultivate quiet moments, play and restoration.
